His rampage caused the creation of The Hunger. Eventually snapping, he killed Toriel and successfully acquired the 7 Souls. Over many years he became twisted and bitter from defeat. No longer the bright clear color once shown, Chara's clothes reflect the sad decay of their soul.Īfter being stopped by Frisk, Flowey retreated. Additionally, their clothes are decayed, dirty, and dull. Chara's true form is later revealed to be a discusting form, their flesh rotting off like slime and maggots falling out of burrows in the skin. Some distinct differences Chara displays are a tattered red scarf around their neck, and unnatural red eyes. She has no variations in appearance from classic Alphys.Ĭhara's duiscuised form appeares fairly similar to classic Chara, with a yelloew and green striped sweater and brown khaki shorts. Setting off to free the Monsters, Aliza came to discover the Underground was not the same place depicted in Frisk’s Journal. Inspired by her mother’s writing, and the desire to leave her abuseive grandmother, Aliza would collect the 7 Souls required to break the barrier. This journal gave detailed accounts of Frisk's encounters, and even included a map of the Underground. Aliza had read Frisk’s journal about the Underground. Thus, the Underground decayed, seemingly all Hope died alongside Frisk. Frisk was never able to return, and would pass away after giving birth to her daughter Aliza. He gives it to Frisk, forcing them to go through the barrier, hoping to keep her safe. In a desperate attempt, not only save the Underground, but mainly Frisk, Sans takes Toriel's Soul. This glitch, called The Hunger, began to afflict all Monsters. Slaying Toriel, he manages to take the Souls this time but his recklessness created a vicious glitch, fueled by the Void. Until Flowey returned, bitter from defeat. For thirteen years, everything seemed to be at peace. With Toriel taking the throne once again, and Frisk working alongside the Monsters looking for a different way break the barrier, a new kind of Hope has been brought to the Underground. After managing to prevent Flowey from taking the Souls and destroying the surface, Frisk decides to live among Monster kind.
